A wood carving [link] by ~geometreeoflife reminded me of a tetrahedron star fractal study I had done (way back in 1998!).
The top row is self explanatory, I hope.
The second row is the floor of this object viewed from inside the fractal.
The third row is the Sierpinsky octahedral bubbles that dwell beneath this fractal's surface after a few iterations.
